      My first book by Carol Rivers and I have to admit it was a very nice World War II story.Shows daily life during that time.Characters are very reallled with happiness and sorrows.I will definitely read more books by this author.

      Yes it is a 'all right book', nothing special, but I have read a lot worse. great for when you want a nice easy read.
