      It was beautiful, in language and in content. But, too difficult to follow all the characters.

      I didn't enjoy this onee plot sounded interesting enough, but the only reason I made it to the end was because it changed characters and from past to present every page or two. I didn't understand half of it (apparently life has changed since 1968?). The story finally wrapped up well enough, with my question answered two pages before the final sentence. I'm just not sure why I finished it
