Debi Faulkner wrote a very interesting and refreshing twist into the tale of the frog prince. While this story reminds us of the classic tale, at the same time it is quite different from it. This is easy reading for elementary kids and classroom participation. It is entertaining from the very beginning to the twist at the end. The tale is well written, in a simple voice with which the young readers will identify. The characters are easily likeable and even make the reader feel comfortable. It st [...]

This story is a twist on the old classic. The princess is the frog who is turned human and the reason behind it is outright heroic, She is sent to find what is happening to the fathers, mothers , daughters , sons and even her own father the king. While she's searching for a way to find and help them she is clonked on the head by Jack's Sister Gwendolyn's crown making her have amnesia about who and what she is. They go through this whole story thinking she is a princess who was cursed into being [...]

Its a cute short short ebook about a different take on the princess and the frog. I thinks kids will enjoy this tale. I know I thought it was charmingo twin 11 yr Princess Gwedolyn & Prince Jack are playing out in the garden, as brothers do he was teasing his sister. Jack knocked her crown in the pond that was the second time so Gwendolyn went into the pond to find her crown. What she found was a frog on a lily pad wearing a little crown. Gwendolyn thought she better kiss it and turn Prince [...]

Sweet story for small children. Princess Gwendolyn and her brother are playing in the gardens when Jack knocks off Gendolyns crown into the pond and when Gwendolyn goes to look for it she finds a tiny frog wearing a crown. Knowing her fairytales, Gwendolyn kisses the frog thinkshe has met prince charming, but instead she gets Princess Lily (or Freda if Jack has his way) and she has no memory of her home. Gwendolyn asks her father to allow her to throw a ball for Lily so she can see if anyone kno [...]
