Like Robert Munsch's book I'll Love You Forever this book brought tears to my eyes. And like that book Mommy Whispers is a picture book that is likely to be appreciated by a parent more than by the child. Perhaps it is just the stage I am at in life with my own mother having passed away and my children growing up so quickly right before my eyes. Mommy Whispers made me remember to stop and appreciate the gift that my children truly are. At each stage of her daughter's life a loving mother whisper [...]

Mommy Whispers by Jenny Lee Sulpizio & Peg Lozier is a great gift book for a mother and daughter. First Mia's review: The book was about a mommy and her baby girl growing up. The mommy prayed for her little girl pretty much every day. My favorite parts were I felt happy for her when she got married. I also liked it when she was a toddler. I learned that God is always with you and Mommy will always love you. If I were to tell somebody about this book, I would say: You have to read this book b [...]

This is an interesting story about a mother who prayed for the safety and health of her daughter. Trusting God to help her grow into a woman sure of herself. A mother who considers her daughter a gift from above, whether she was playing, her first day at school, off to college or getting married, she let her know… quote “You are God’s gifts to me, forever you will be”.Like the Author said, Mommy Whispers is a keepsake children’s book that depicts the special relationship between a moth [...]

I enjoyed sharing Mommy Whispers with my children and at one point it brought tears to my eyes as I thought how special it must be for my mom to see me blossom into a woman. I cherish my children and know these days of childhood will soon be little more than a memory. I imagine that’s how my mom felt as my siblings and I grew up. I also know my mom prayed for us at each stage of our lives and reminded us whenever we were in doubt to pray for direction. Mommy Whispers would make a great gift fo [...]

As a mother to two girls, I just cannot read this without getting choked up and my eyes getting watery what a sweet, wonderful, touching story! The illustrations are beautiful, too. I will be reading this to both of my precious baby girls as often as they’ll let me. I hope it touches their hearts the way it touches mine. And maybe, one day, they can read it to their baby girls, should God bless them so!
