Great series! mystery, suspense, espionage, relationship issues and conflict, intrigue, good storytelling, nice chemistry between both leads and supporting cast, well developed characters and it's a well written continuing series (paperback!)
I love this writer, more for the sizzle she infuses her books with than content as a whole. Usually I concentrate on that, but this time I could not but get bugged by Diane and Blaire who keep on insisting that they have the right to know everything that the jobs of federal agents, albeit their significant others, require them to do. Going as far as asking about details and meddling, even if under the excuse of worrying for their safety!!! I am pissed that both keep on acting as if what is the a [...]
The hunt goes onStill searching for the mastermind behind the attack on her lover, the first daughter, Cameron Roberts now a Deputy Director of Homeland Security must use all her expertise to find those responsible. Compelling reading
At the rate Cam is getting injured (she comes near death like every 2 weeks), I'm surprised Blair hasn't developed any heart disease yet.
This book is fantastic and the series is phenomenal. For the past few books now the continuing and all-pervasive aura from the September 11, 2001 assault on United States territory still permeates all hearts and minds referenced. As I relive the focusing story with the three primary couples that were central characters within Honor Series 5, I find myself overwhelmed by my own memories along with their experiences. Extraordinarily this book, as did book five, starts practically after the end of [...]
Another one of the more transitional episodes in the series this time full of spy intrigue. Cam is busy setting up a new team as threats once more rain down on Blair and this time Diane gets caught up in the action. The core team doesn't change much though their roles get slightly altered as security reorganises. It's not a bad entry in the series it's just that the locations, the conversations between Blair and Cam, the politics with Lucinda, the threats to Blair and the way operations go down [...]
GreatWhere the other books concentrated more on events, this one was more exhilarating and exciting. You are always trying to guess what's going to happen next. Radclyffe has developed a great team of characters which are very realistic and extremely well developed. You journey through the book with these characters as your constant companions. The story is mainly told regarding the two main characters, but Radclyffe throughout has developed other characters relationships which make the series m [...]
As I said, great book, great story and great series.
This seemed like it was written specifically to give Diane and Blair more time to whine about how they don't want their lovers being in danger. I swear to god these women have nine fucking lives. How many times can you be shot at, stabbed, and blown up before luck runs out. I am not excited about reading the next book in the series.
I will finish this series because I do like these characters. But my god, is the pace slow. Every three books should be combined into one, given the amount of action they contain.
Radclyffe knows how to keep the tension from one book to another! Great one
It's always the same in all his books, the only thing that changes is the name of the character, is completely predictable (And I'm going to do the same with my reviews)
This book is a good read and a nice addition to the Honor Series. I like the two main characters Cameron and Blair. I suppose if I did not I would not be on read six, heading to read seven :) Their inner turmoil and conflicts keep this reader interested. The other characters make the story interesting as well. It is intriguing to watch the coupling. Makes you want to know more about them and what is going to happen next. Glad Mac is back and Felicia's concern for his well being. The interaction [...]
This series is action packed and this installment was no different. It seems that love is in the air for all the characters. Cam and Blair further their commitment to one another. I have to admit I was wrong about Valerie. Mac is back!!! And Radclyffe hints at a budding relationship between Mac an Felicia. Diane goes to How to be in a relationship with a federal agent 101 boot camp lol. And a new character is introduced. I'm unsure of how Emory ties in, but hopefully I'll get an explanation in t [...]
I love the Honor series - what more can I say? Will start Word of Honor soon!
