She just covers so much. This book has helped me understand how domestic work is enmeshed in capitalism. I will never be able to hear the phrase "flexible labor market" without thinking of the millions of women living precariously as house-cleaners, nannies and elder care workers all over the world.

A very different take on housework than I've met in modern feminist movements. Very inspiring!
