I liked this attic adventure. It has a little bit of suspense. And the lesson was a really valuable one for people of all ages. It was good to see Keisha learn it and find out her cousin wasn’t so bad after all.

This one didn't grab me too much in the intro, and its plot was pretty predictable. I don't mind that in a book like this, but you need to excite me in the process, and this one didn't do a great job of that. That said, I wonder if the Longwood Estate they refer to in the book is totally made up or is based in part on Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. Could just be me looking for familiar links though.

Keisha isn't looking forward to spending time with her cousin. A trip through Ellie's attic teaches her a lesson about jumping to conclusions. This one was "okay". It's not as fanciful as some of Keisha's stories, which I liked. The books haven't aged well, as it's hard to imagine a ten year old baby-sitting siblings now. The writing wasn't bad, though.

A quick read but very suitable for Y3-4-5 (grade 2-3-4)

Despite the book's summary, this is one of the least exciting stories in "The Magic Attic Club" series.
