This is a fantastic new author. This short story is a great follow thru to the first elven book Gabriel. Gabriel left unanswered questions about Eden's twin, how did they get separated and why wasn't Elizara aware of a missing child. This short story will make you hold your breath as you read to discover what transpires. In Angel's Haylo, Amy the human midwife is called to an Elven home to assist with a childbirth until the Elven family can arrive. When Amy arrives she is unsure if Elizara or the [...]

I loved this book . Although it was short it gave a great insight into a young Haylo and Eden.It had parts that made me cry as when her mother died, and the whole book had me wishing for the kind of love shown to these two girls as they grew up. Amy had such a love for her daughter Angel that taking one of the girls for her seemed the right thing to do. Eliazra was in a weakened state and might not have been able to care for both girls. I wished I could have traveled with Haylo to find her real [...]

Haylo is an elf who was adopted by a human family who truly loved her. Haylo has the power to heal but can't heal old age. She has lost her grandmother, father and now her mother is dying. Her mother tells her the truth about her adoption, how she came to them and about her real family. Haylo has nothing left to stay for, so she is now on a journey and adventure to find her true family and home.Even though this is a short story, it's a nice one and has you rooting for Haylo!!

A novella that is as awesome as the other books in the series. It gives a lot more background on various characters in the full length books. A must read if you like the Elven Chronicles.

Having read this author's first book, Gabriel (Elven Chronicles), I quickly purchased this short story to read. Haylo, we learn in the first book is Eden's twin, and they meet for the first time in Gabriel. I loved Haylo and wanted to learn more about her. In Angel's Haylo, we get to see how the twins were separated at birth, as well as Haylo's upbringing. We get to meet Haylo's family, and how she learns of her Elf abilities, and about her real elf family. After reading Angel's Haylo, we come a [...]

Another fantastic book. It was about Haylo's childhood, a cheerful childhood. The very first time when Angel took Haylo in her arms That was so sweet (brought tears to my eyes) I am truly happy for her and the family. Yes, the end made me cry but it was great to know they all passed way with smiles on their faces. When Amy went back to Elizara and met the other twin (Eden):DD That was funny. Even at such a young age she is still the same. Where Haylo is gentle and sweet, Eden is a pure fire. ;DI [...]

I loved Angel’s Haylo. I am always amazed when author’s can capture strong emotions in a short time frame. I am adopted and to me, Angel’s Haylo captured so many emotions that I myself have personally felt growing up. While I know that Haylo was not technically adopted there was such a strong sense of love and family that came from her ‘Human Family’ that resonated with me. It was amazing to see the amount of love that came from Angel towards Haylo, and that the bond of a mother is not [...]

This is a great story added to the original story of Gabriel (Elven Chronicles). In this story we learn about Halo, Eden's twin sister. So this is basically her story of how she came to separate from her family and what type of life she led with her human family. It gives insight into how their kindness and love shaped the woman she is in Gabriel. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about her and hope we'll be seeing more about her in future installments of the series.

Angel's Haylo by M.A. Abraham is really good. I read this very quickly after finishing Gabriel. It seemed to go too fast for me, I wanted so much more. It does help to get a glimpse into Haylo's character, so that was fun. There were some strange editing errors, but that might only be in the edition that I read.

A glimpse back into the pastI gave this two stars because this snippet of history did not really interest me and it was so removed from the characters as they are now having read the other books.
