I'm in love with Sam, the hero! But of course I wrote the book :)

This review can also be found on my blog.Reasons to doubt him seemed infinite, but my desire to trust Sam had a heartbeat of its own now.I don’t know whether to hug my Kindle close to my chest or fling it across the room. An Eye For Danger was exciting, thrilling, swoon worthy, and had me biting my nails and gasping in anger or surprise from beginning to end. The suspense portion of the story with all the evasive maneuvers while the hero and heroine are running for their lives made me think of [...]

No lie, this book rocked. Little to no editing flaws, spelling or grammar issues (which, honestly, I've come to expect in e-books; almost all of them are horribly edited) and a well polished story from beginning to end. It leaves the end open for the next book, leaving the reader tingling for the next book, without dangling you on the edge of a cliff hanger (which is great, because cliff hangers are like boogers: unacceptable but sometimes unavoidable). I completely adored how well Sam was writt [...]

Wow what an amazing book! It will keep you guessing until the very end!

Previous reviewers have described the book so I'll share my thoughts.I thoroughly enjoyed the first 75-80 percent read in two days. The plot twists and surprises kept me going at high speed until the last quarter where I began to burn out and had to set it aside for awhile to let my brain slow down. The flawed but very likable characters Sam and Julie were well developed. The dialogue was suitable to the characters, often witty, sarcastic and emotional, always pertinent and consistent to the chara [...]

This was an extremely complicated, action filled story with a fantastic hero and a fascinating if not always likable heroine. Jules can be capable one moment and the next, make a silly decision based on emotion the next. Sam is a good match for her, being a little more grounded although he has plenty of baggage, and possessing a really sensitive soul. There's a ton of gun battles, explosions, betrayals, and violence so obviously an exciting story is taking place while Jules and Sam find love. Se [...]

I was surprised that the book was so big to be honest. I thought it would be resolved a lot quicker but more elements were added in. I got a bit sick of the lack of communication between Jules and Sam and I skimed those passages nearer the end. I liked the concept and want to see what happens next!

A truly compelling read, Christine Fairchild has created a relatable character in Jules, who is struggling with her PTSD and is forced to push herself to her limits when mystery guy Sam enters her life. This is an action-packed, romance-filled page-turner that I could not put down.

I thoroughly enjoy this story. I loved the heroine, she wants to hide herself away from the world and everyone. Then there is hero who thinks he has nothing to live for. And then they metI found this book a wonderful read. I lost sleep because I just couldn't put it down.

I am currently reading this on wattpad :) hoped it was here cant wait till i read the rest

4.5 stars. Excellent romantic suspense tale about a war photographer with PTSD and a man she's not sure she can trust. Journalist Julie Larson goes for a jog in Central Park and stumbles into the middle of a murder in progress. When one of the men involved takes her hostage, she finds that the man is actually trying to protect her from the other man involved in the murder. He lets her go, but shows up later at her apartment badly injured and in need of help. She reluctantly assists him, and as t [...]

This book was only okay for me. Typical editing errors like missing or incorrect words drive me nuts. Why do they not have people editing these things?? Though I've seen worse, it is still annoying. As far as the book goes, it was really only okay. Unnecessarily long and drawn-out plot. I wanted to smack Julie most of the time, which didn't help. Some of the conversation was kind of humorous, which is why I gave the book 2 stars at least. The story-telling could have been smoother. Very choppy a [...]

An Eye For Danger could of been a really good romantic suspense which is my favorite genre. There was a good story base but there were just too many players and subplots going on. I thought I would never say this but there was too much action. I had a hard time following the story and kept having to stop reading to think about what just happened and how it tied in. The book didn't flow smoothly and seemed to jump to scenes before the previous scene was finished.I would not recommend the book.

Like a runaway locomotive, An Eye For DAnger started out at breakneck speed and gained momentum with every page! I hardly breathed during the reading of this page turner. The best part is that when you finish, it's not over. Jules and Sam will be back with a vengeance in a sequel, which is a good thing for anyone who reads this book. Wanting more is a given!

This book is PERFECT! And I take my hat off to C. Fairchild. She is a brilliant author. I can’t ask for more from a novel. It’s my absolute top read for the year so far and I’m quite certain it’ll be at same top spot at the end of 2013.

Buckle your seat belt! It's a wild ride, but you're gonna love every minute!

Best book I have read in a long time.

By Momma on April 30, 2013Eye For Danger (The Goliath Conspiracy Series) by Christine M. Fairchild I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this book. I really did enjoy the action and intrigue, the romance was good too but it seemed like the story was a little longer than it really needed to be. There were times when it was difficult to keep track of who’s who because of the large cast of characters. But that just kept me guessing more. The twists and turns are excellent, Fairchild definit [...]

Jules is a war photographer who is shell shocked and combat weary in more ways than one. Completely shut down on life, hiding away in her apartment, her only ray of life is Max, her faithful dog, till one day, a walk in the park changes everything. Stumbling into what she first thinks is a fight, she is soon embroiled in a life or death game where she doesn't know who is good or bad, and she has to look deep within herself to gather the strength to figure it out. Sam, her kidnapper turned saviou [...]

I don't normally give 5 stars as I'm picky but cause of Sam this book was worth that FIVE!Where do I start. The beginning middle or just before the ending. Was there a weak point. Yes. In the beginning it was a little slow (for me) but after that it picked up and just zoomed right through till the last chapter. I couldn't get enough of all the twist and turns and not trusting and trusting those agents. I even had this moment where I wanted to roll my eyes at Jules, cause she was testing my patie [...]

465pgs, romantic suspense, When former war photographer Jules Larson braves a PTSD attack to jog beyond her five-block safety zone in Central Park, she runs right into a murder scene. Taken hostage, Jules provides escape for Sam Fields, an undercover cop desperate to avoid capture by his nemesis and former mentor, Detective Stone McCarthy. Sam can't afford to blow his two-year investigation of Goliath, a band of crooked cops who clean up New York City streets vigilante style. Especially if Stone [...]

This book had more twists and turns that a sidewinder's trail. It hooks you and reels you in. A woman suffering from PTSD meets an undercover cop with a secret. They are up against an organization called Goliath. It's not an ordinary organization, it's a group of people in law enforcement who want to be judge, jury, and executioner for the scum of the earth. But who determines who is a bad guy? And why does it seem that everyone is out too get Julie?

This is my first book by this author and I am so glad that I decided read this book I loved everything about it. It definitely kept me on my toes and kept me guessing.I had somewhat figured out the main bad guy closer to the end but I still had small characters that would throw me for a loopI so can't wait till the next book in the series comes out.going to drive me crazy waiting for it!!! Highly recommend this series!!!

Page TurnerPage TurnerI really enjoyed the pace of this book. The characters were fun an:)d interesting and the pace was unrelenting. looking forward to the next!

Well done characters in a romantic suspense story that may have had too much action, leaving the reader exhausted by the end. There was supposed to be at least one additional volume to continue the story, but I don't think it's out as of April 2014.

this book is different from other romantic suspense books I'd read. I love how the author portrays our heroine, Jules with PTSD and undercover agent, Sam. the romantic relationship develops between them spice up the element of suspense throughout the plot line. can't wait for the second book!

A little too winding and overwrought for me. At the base, it's a good story but it was difficult to sympathize with the female lead (hard to call her a heroine). Hope the second installment is more believable.

I felt like An Eye For Danger was a long drawn out story. With that said I enjoyed the plot and FBI agent Sam Fields was very entertaining. At times some of the scene changes were a bit confusing but the story was interesting and held my attention long enough for me to want to finish.

Jules and Sam are two people scarred by life, and yet unwilling to simply give in. They fight even when it feels like they have nothing to fight for. Full review in March 2013 issue of InD'tale Magazine.

Fast paced read which I couldn't put down. As I followed Julie's emotional rollercoaster, I kept thinking when is she Going to escape her own self-imposed prison. Well, I'll leave to you to discover whether she escapes or crashes and burns.
