With their parents both dead, Ava is desperate to do all she can to help her younger sister, even working all hours. However, when Kate hopes to go abroad, Ava seeks out yet another cleaning job to add to her list of dead end jobs. But, in a case of mistaken identity, she finds herself in as a PA with a large firm. But suddenly, Ava's world seems to fall apart when her past catches up with her.I really enjoyed this delightful story about two people who find love, but then seem to be torn apart b [...]
A warm beautifully written mystery Romance with a stunning Alpha Male and a final twist in the tale that will have your heart beating to the back of your chair. This brilliant read is available ine both book and Kindle format . Give it a go and have a wonderful time
It was a great clean happy ending love story, that probably could have only meant to solve/concentrate on child abuse and serial rapist problems that were rampant in those timesI felt the depth of love could have been a little more discussed/written about between the protagonist and her love interest. The romance between them and the emotional turmoil that the protagonist had to endure because of her tormented past could have made a lot of more footage. The book is fast paced and that's a plus an [...]
“A Perfect Summer” was such a sweet book to read, even though it was incredibly sad and tragic at times. Ava’s strength and ability to go on despite the horrific events of her past was truly worth admiration. I absolutely loved the dynamics of her relationship with Will and how protective he was of his new employee, who used to be his former schoolmate. A rushed marriage on one side, and a tragedy on the other – and fate separated their ways, only to reunite them after. The psychological [...]
Another brilliant book from this author.I really enjoyed the scenes with the teenage children involved. Although it's a hard subject, it wasn't gone into in too much detail and gave the story the right mix of seriousness with some lighter moments too.I'd love to see a follow up book with Jake and Kate as the main characters. They sound as though they are going to have interesting futures.
Boring, Predictable, and not realistic.
