**2.5 Drunk stars** This review may be spoilerish. Proceed with caution. Rant may have been added as well. Rax Wrathbone had a fight and a break up with one of his band mates; his tag mate with the groupies and long best friend. At this point he decides to give up on relationships and prefers the company of the alcohol. Alcohol becomes his best friend and he becomes a constant shit-faced drunk. Eve is a pole-dancer, stripper at a night club called, Nocturnes. Her staged name there is Lola. Rax h [...]

I was so excited about reading this story about Rax, "Killer Buzz Floats" guitarist. After the rough go around he had in "BEATS"(the 2nd book) I just wasn't sure how he was going to dig himself out of his mess. This story is NOT for the faint of heart when it comes to true HEART felt emotion and Strong language(511 F*#@'s) and raw sexual content. Rax is lost and looking for a way to go on with his band and with his life. Throughout this book I LOVE being in his head and truly understanding what [...]

3 stars“I wanna be the only pole you ever need. I’m tall. Hard. Strong. Mostly straight. I swear to God I’ll always support you and never let you down.”This is the fucked up story of Rax and Lola, two people who were far from stable and definitely not at a point in their lives where they can grow their attraction for one another. Lola was THE reason Rax ended up in the hospital that one night a few months ago abd as chance has it their paths crossed once again. You'd think that after a d [...]

I loved STRINGS. I adored BEATS. But this onewas my favorite of the three. Kendall knocked this one out, and I couldn't put it down. I started it in the mid-to-late morning, and finished it by 11 pm. Eve was a great character, and Raxoh, sweet, tortured Rax. I'm familiar with alcoholism (numerous family members and friends), and the author handled this issue realistically and with sensitivity.

This one was more serious than the others. I really enjoyed Rax's story. Contains one of the craziest scenes that I have ever read!

I'm just going to go right to the pink elephant in the corner. Not 1, Not 2, But 3!!!! Wowza that scene was just what Rax needed to watch. It was like a mini wake up call for him. Oh my little messed up Rax.he just never was truly loved. That's all he wants is to have someone who can look at him with googoo eyes and feel wanted like he see's happening with his band mates. This is the raw, yet sad story of Rax and his conquest to over-come loosing out on Toombs. Rax never has given up on that one [...]

Pretty crazyYes, Kendall does warn you about a CRAZY Scene involving "Hell" and Some Angelshaha, but it was pretty crazy.Other than my shockI really enjoyed NOCTURNES, and Rax and Eve's story. I thought it was heartbreaking, romantic and utterly real.Kendall does a fabulous job at getting to the nitty gritty of a persons issues and putting them in the spotlight.I loved the "soulmate" aspect of NOCTURNES, and I wish the series wasn't over.

I really liked watching Rax's transformation but the sex scenes weren't as good as previous books and the whole thing seemed repetitive and probably a bunch of shit could have been cut without adversely affecting the novel. However the most unrealistic aspect wasn't the sex act we are 'warned not to say is unrealistic because I've seen it done in movies and we all know they're realistic as fuck' in the author's note, but the idea that a pole dancer never gets bruises.

I am SO ADDICTED to this series! I absolutely ENJOYED Strings, ADORED Beats, but I FUCKING LOVED Nocturnes! Every damn time Kendall Grey knocks it out of the park with her writing style. It's dirty, raunchy, naughty, and it just hit the spot for me. Who wants to read dull romance books, when you can have an Erotic Rock Star Romance with a KICK ASS element!Braxton Rathbone, a.k.a. Rex, a.k.a. RAX fucking Wrathbone! Rax is a rock start that you LOVE to HATE! He makes horrible decisions, he drinks [...]

Damn you Kendall Grey for making me feel! I loved Letty and Shades. I needed Jinx and Toombs to get together. But Rax? Rax could have jumped off a cliff and I wouldn’t have cared, until Kendall Grey made me actually care for the son of a bitch. Out of all the characters in the Hard Rock Harlots series, Rax has always been the most difficult to like. It was hard to find any redeeming qualities, especially after he almost forced himself on Jinx in Beats. But Nocturnes not only changed the way I [...]

4 stars you may ask?? Yes indeed. I fell in love with KG's writing with Strings for the fact that she's so unconventional, crass and vulgar. This 3rd entry into the Hard Rock Harlots series is no different, but, IMHO, each book has delved deeper into the human psyche and thus touched me on a deeper level. I actually purchased this book when it was first released over a year ago, but sat on it this long because it dealt with my least favorite member of the band. All I can say is, I am a pussy of [...]

The last 40% of the book was soooo great. It was just a shame that the first 60% was a little boring :( It was brilliant to see all the band again. Letty and Shades are definitely still my favourites. No doubt! I don't have a whole lot to say really. I really liked Rax once he became sober and apologised to the people he hurt. Especially Toombs.I did like Eve, but the whole pole-dancer/prostitute thing just didn't do it for me at all.It was gross and dirty. Not in a hot way like Letty and Shades, [...]

I don't know how Kendell continues to give us stories about character we grow to love. Rax has to be one of the best written characters ever. Loved the changes in him from the last book until the end of Nocturnes. He has the best one lines. Loved getting in his head for a few hours. My heart goes out to Eve. I'm glad she was able to get Rax'd.I read this book 3 days ago and can't stop thinking about chapter 2. It was haunting me, but after reasearching (googled) it do feel better.

Call me a prude but I have never been more excruciatingly unbearably uncomfortable reading a sex scene before. I mean is it actually physically possible to fit not 1, not 2, but 3 dicks in one asshole at the same time?? How on earth do the 3 dicks in question even geographically position themselves to insert in said asshole??After reading this scene I just couldn't venture any further, thinking oh god what is coming up next.ick, just ick!

Good God do I love the way Kendall Grey tells a story. She can polish a turd and make it look like a chocolate diamond. By turd, I mean a genre of book that I normally wouldn’t touch unless my life depended on it. I’d rather read about someone get their throat torn out than about them falling in love. I’m glad I’ve made the exception for Kendall’s books. Nocturnes is a story of love hidden beneath the rough exterior of non-conventional lifestyles of the two main characters, Rax and Eve [...]

Let me begin with, this book isn’t for everyone! Like the warning states there are 511 Fucks in Nocturnes. Also there is a particular scene that will not be for everyone. Even I was cringing reading it. And, I have with Kendall Grey and a few other women to know it is possible for the scene to happen. Google it if you want, but I recommend you don’t. You will need to BLEACH your eyes out.Do I have your attention now. Ok so Nocturnes is the story about Rax, the guitarist for Killer Buzz Float [...]

My parents never treated me bad. It's just who I am. A straight-up, 100 percent pure, grade A dick. It's the only person I know how to be." - Rax I read this strictly out of curiosity. I fell in love with a stripper/whore and an alcholic asshole. Lol. I would never have thought that possible but Kendall Grey has once again worked her magic. I seriously did not think Rax could redeem himself. I thought, ok, he'll be nice to some chick and still be an ass and so forth and so on. I WAS WRONG! Rax is so much more than just a jerk. He's an alcoholic with issues that run far deeper. As for Eve, well poor girl has dreams. Literally, her parents died when she was young and she Is just [...]

I went into to this book hating Rax and I am not gonna lie I still hated him all the way up to the 75% mark.Nocturnes begins right where Beats left off and Rax is a horny drunk looking for fun in s strip club when he spots Lola! Lola you might remember is the stripper in Strings that caught his attention! But Lola is not your everyday innocent stripper, she is much much more. Soon you read things she has done that you cannot u [...]

I still don't like Rax, but he and Eve were perfect for one another. I had my moments where I just wanted to throw this book across the room, but I pushed through and by the end things weren't so bad. Kendall thrives on writing a book that is going to be in your face, unapologetic, and downright gritty. Nocturnes is that and more, so you have been warned. I didn't find much at all to admire about Eve or Rax honestly, and they are two flawed characters of epic proportions. Rax is an alcoholic ass [...]
