In the fifth book of paranormal publics the girls and Lough start back to the school after the massive fight at the Locke. Now that they know Lanca is safe and protected they needed to get back to their education. But they are stopped at the gates by Professor Erikson and Dove and told that the semester has been canceled because of the recent events at the Locke. They don’t buy it. So lough stays outside the grounds while the girls try to sneak on to campus. Wasn’t hard though. They got righ [...]

If no one tells Charlotte what is going on, then how can they get mad at her for acting on her own to solve what she sees as problems? But they manage just that, they try to keep her in the dark as much as possible; "we have more protection on you than you can know" and expect her to leave things at that. Never mind the people trying to kill or injure her, the number of times demons have gone after her, or the amazing amount of times she has saved everyone.Just trust that the council has things [...]

We pick up where we left off from the last book with an "all points bulletin" out to kill the last elemental and the four friends are being refused entry to Public. Lisabelle is as snippy and angry as ever and they are determined to find out what is happening at the school regardless of the consequences. A new President has now been installed at Public and President Vale is determined to destroy Charlotte and any paranormal that stands in her way. Desperate to protect her friends and the other s [...]

Just to let you know in advance, I read all of the books in the series. It's true that the English is not the best and that there are parts where she skips ahead and you get mixed with the time line, but overall, the idea behind the writing is good, and although sometimes I felt the characters where kind of plastic and psychologically boxed, the background story leads you to find out the rest.Yes, I spent most of the time correcting the English used and yes, even I though I could write it better. [...]

Elemental Fire is book five of the Paranormal Public series by Maddy Edwards.Charlotte, Sip, Lisabelle, and Lough are locked out of Paranormal Public and told the semester is cancelled. Pretty sure they're being lied to, the three girls decide to break into the school and are soon trapped in a semester from hell or demon-sided dark mages. Not to mention that she has to protect the Mirror Arcane, somehow figure out how to save her school, and not get killed in the unequal Tactical challenges.Yeah [...]

I do like these stories, but this author SERIOUSLY needs a better editor or someone to closely read the books before they're published. There are so many spelling/grammatical/continuity errors in all of this series of books that it makes them almost painful to read. I keep on because I am solidly hooked and want to see how it all ends. I have never been a quitter, but if some of these mistakes continue, I will be forced into it for the first time!

These books have become ok. I enjoyed the first one alot but they kinda have gone downhill since the. One issue I have is these characters are supposed to be 19 and 20 years old in "paranormal college" and while that is still young, they talk and act like they are sophomores in high school. I don't think they act their age.

3.5 stars. I like the characters in this series and the general plot, but the plot gets bogged down with too much dialogue between the characters that doesn't advance the plot. Major conflicts seem to resolve too quickly in each book.

The issues with the typos and grammar errors continue.

Sake as previous books. Horrible editing and lack of a story board. Details are not consistent. I like the idea, just cannot handle the poor execution.
