Classic fairytale. I feel like I should give it four stars for its iconic value, but the story itself isn't all that amazing. Like many similar classics, it rides more on its larger-than-life legacy than its original narrative now. Although, saying that, I'm aware that neither Parrault nor the Grimm brothers were the original writers. They just retold the story from its folkloric origins.

For child reading, it's short and interesting. The story is quite popular in Vietnam, I think.
