3 1/2 starshmmis books was a bit misleading in its description. I wouldn't classify this as a romance, but more chick lit. It is the story of Amber (as the book description says) AND her sister Emily. Amber is looking for a way to get to Denver from New York for Christmas. Scott needs to drive to San Francisco, so he gives her a ride. Emily is a newlywed to widower Luke, who has two young children adjusting to having a stepmother. Cute Christmas themed story with alternating points of view between two sisters and their struggles during the Christmas season to find perfection.I enjoyed each perspective that really focuses overall on the message about appreciating what you have in life and it's up to all of us to find happiness because perfection is just an illusion.Though Amber and Emily are sisters, they couldn't be more different than night day. Cute Holiday story about two sisters living different lives and trying to get ready for the Holidays. The chapters flip back and forth between Amber trying to get to Colorado from New York and Emily who is trying to do everything to get ready to host her family for Xmas. I had some laugh out loud moments reading this book.

Cute story. Had a hard time getting into it at first, but after about the first 100 pages, it got better. Definitely not my favorite book ever, but it was a light, easy read.
