I tried this, but my interest in Christian historical romance turns out to be nonexistent at the moment.
This was a delightful quick read. I fell in love with Russell and Nora. I loved the message of forgiveness and emotional healing. It is well written and one I know I will want to read again.
Audible book beautiful storyline began with the return of Russell whom was an outlaw because he killed a man defending de honor of Nora de Women he loves back then he was just a kid in his teens 15 years old. A very wise Christian man who God put man of of faith to guide and show the right paths to take. When Russell returned 🏡 his mother didn't recognize him and had a shotgun on her hands she seemed sick. Happy with disbelief because she had send her son away. But She owe him gratitude for s [...]
I enjoyed this short story. If you like sweet western romance novels, you will like this interesting book. The two main characters, Russell and Nora were very like able. It was a story of second chances.
Full review on the whole compilation.
An Outlaws HeartThis was a short book but I enjoyed it, really a conclusion to the series of the heart of hero's. Read the other three books first then read this book it bring it all together. Good book.
I have to start out by saying that I absolutely adored Russell and Nora in this wonderful story by Shelley Gray. The story is set in Texas in 1878, where Russell returns home after a seven year absence. There obviously have been some changes over the years, but the one thing that hasn't changed is his love and devotion to Nora.I loved this book. I felt such sadness, but also respect for Russell. He was a boy that was forced to leave home and became an outlaw but he returned home a good man and be [...]
This final novella in the collection felt the most complete, if a little rushed toward the end. It was an emotional read with broken characters who learn forgiveness. Like A Love Beyond Limits, I think it would have done more for me as a full length novel, yet it was still a good read.I received this book through Litfuse in exchange for an honest review.
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, because I would have "really like" the story if it had been a stand alone novel. I was glad to follow up on the characters of Russell and Nora. I liked Russell's assertiveness in fulfilling his purpose to protect Nora. But the plot definitely was sufficient to have carried the story into a full novel.
Wonderful story from a male point of view told with spare masculine dialogue I found authentic and refreshing. The twists were reading pleasure! And his willingness to act on his feelings made me a cheerleader.
I loved these stories. Happy endings, shallow page turning reading. Perfect.
good story but really short
