Intriguing premiseAnother reviewer asked a pertinent question - If Imperial Germany had a time machine in 1918, couldn't they have found a better way to deploy it? I'm not sure. If one assumes some of the "rules" and contradictions set forth in a long tradition of time travel stories there would be some things the Germans could not or would not want to do. A cheap ripoffThis book, is a cheap and not well done one at that. The book knocks off Guns of the South by Harry Turtldove from plot line, to the story, to the use of a female soldier. The author's grasp of reality history is deplorable. Such as stating that Tad Lincoln visited City Point, VA with his mother Mary in 1865. Neither happened, as Tad was dead, and I assume not disinterred from his grave. Mary remained in Washington.His characters follow the basic the south wins the war formula. Lee [...]

Good readI enjoyed the premise. Needs a little editing, but otherwise great story. Looking forward to more from this author. Thanks
