I loved My Summer Storm even more than Leaving Nelson. The writing of this book is even better than the first book. In this book, Bailey is now seventeen. Once again, the characters sound their age. Bailey sounds like a seventeen-year-old. Her decisions are more thought-out. Her faith plays more of a role in this book than book 1. In book 1, Bailey was just beginning to grasp what faith means for her. In this book, she depends on her faith to help make decisions in her life.Although this book co [...]

4.5 stars Don't get me wrong, the plot and story line is brilliant. I still love the characters and enjoyed their development from Leaving Nelson. Bailey hasn't lost her likability and I was really torn between being on Team Bryce and Team Max. Regardless of my personal beliefs, I still believe that people are going to LOVE this book! It was a really great read. I am curious to see what lies ahead for Bailey, I won't stop reading because when it comes down to it, the story is really superb.

This is a must read! I fell in love with Bay and Bryce and all their friends and family in the first book "Leaving Nelson" and Kim Moss introduced even more characters that I've grown to love in this book. I loved watching Bay mature and grown into this amazingly strong young woman. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next with everyone. I'm definitely not ready to let go of these characters! This series just keeps getting better and pulling me in deeper!

Awesome book! Reminded me so much of the summer camp I cherish. Loved the twists and turns as well as the heart stopping moments that caught me by surprise. Can't wait to see what happens to Bailey next :)

Great continuation !I couldn't wait for this book and I wasn't disappointed. Can't wait for book 3, Chasing Secrets. I love how the author shows her characters struggling with daily life and their continuing growth in their Christian walk.
