This is worth the read if you like the cut up style. The pictures give it an interesting tie in.

A short almost nostalgic partially autobiographical thingie from Burroughs. Refreshing.

Tried to read Cities Of Red Night about 20 years ago and was confused/disappointed, put it downd have just finished this short one by Burroughs and still might give Naked Lunch a try at some point but am definitely missing something that so many others praise.

A semi-autobiographical (?) short book by Burroughs in which he shares some of his fragmentary memories of his youth in St. Louis. His style is partly based on the cut-up style with some sections written in more straight-forward prose. The rare, sepia 1920s bizarre photos throughout the book make this one definitely worth checking out.
