It's just getting harder and harder to impress me with vampire books/series. If this had been out and I had read this during my first Sookie Stackhouse phase - or even Twilight I think a lot of people will like this series, though. I can see the appeal. Easy to read, good pacing. But there's just something missing. Not enough character development maybe? I don't think there is one sentence in this book that is more than ten words long. Very choppy story-telling. Lots of one-word sentences. It's [...]

The only thing that would make this series better is sex.

OMG. I was in a reading slump but this series has awaken my book nerd soul. I started Frantic last night. Read 95 pages. Begrudgingly went to work today and only read on my lunch hour. Finally got home and finished. It called to me all day. I love it when a book/series captivates me like this has.

Frantic picks up where Frenzy left off so read Frenzy first so you know what's going on.This series just gets better and better so of course I wasn't disappointed! Full of twists and turns and keeps you on the edge of your seat. This author simply has a way with words and world building that will keep you coming back for more. Be prepared for one hell of a vampiric ride!!

It has been some time since a book has had me reading during the day and absolutely inhaling it. After that crazy ending with FRENZY, I was so very eager to get started on this one that I immediately got KU and downloaded the series. I plan to devour as much of it as possible this weekend. From beginning to end, I was completely caught up in this amazing story and equally amazing characters. I love that Porschia’s character has gotten better with her transformation to Vampire and I cannot wait [...]

This is obviously meant for pre-teen readers. Everyone loves the same girl, who doesn't seem to be very lovable. She fell in love with Saul in a couple of days and they decided to get married. And when Tage kisses her - she loves her lips back and force appropriately( duh?) Stupid, inane, and sentences 6 words long. This feels like it has turned into the Wahhhh me story with everyone loving the whiner. Not reading the next one that is for sure!

Great book two!!Portia is trying to adjust to the turn and losing everyone she loves. But something is wrong and she can’t keep anything down. She finds help in the last place she would have looked but will she be able to help those she loves as they become targets of the infected??

3.5* this book jumps around quite a bit. The author starts down a storyline or character development then leaves it, too many turns or the start of character motivations that are not explored or explained. Bones of an interesting storyline but not well fleshed out or stuck with for me to continue this series.

I really enjoyed the second book and it had me hooked, I can't believe how much Porschia is not likethe other vampires and i am liking Tage at the moment, but so much of the other vampires and i am glad she manage to feed. Can't believe what happened to Saul. So can't read to the rest of the books

Epic. It was so real to see the craziness behind Porchias transformation. You really feel the confusion, the turmoil, anger and hurt inside of her. Like a premenstrual teen on crack. I loved that This book also gives you a glimpse inside the others heads. And I'm damn sure glad certain people got what was coming to them!

This is book two in the Frenzy series!! I was so very "non" patiently waiting to read this! LolThis one starts off right where Frenzy ends. We now have Porschia who is in "Frenzy" after being turned into a night-walker. In the beginning she has some unforeseen troubles that even has Roman and Tage stumped. We see her struggle with her new lifealing with her change is hard. She has major adjusting to do. She still loves Saul but is afraid.Saul nodded, adding, “Of course,” and started walking [...]

Frantic is the second book in the Frenzy series and OMG is it amazing. I loved book 1 and I love book 2 even more. This series just keeps getting better and better.Frantic begins right where Frenzy ends. Porschia Grant has been bitten and has to drink the vampire blood in the ring provided when she volunteered to go out on rotation. It's the only way she can save her own life, but now she is in Frenzy. Violent outbursts and the need to have blood is driving her crazy, but the fact that she is si [...]

And I was NOT disappointed when Frantic showed up on my kindle, I loved Frenzy and didn't think this series could be any better BUT it does and I devoured it. Casey Bond has done it again! I was in love with Frenzy, I did not think she could out do herself, and well, she did! If you love any type of paranormal books, you will love this set of books! Frenzy is a must read as it ends with a cliffy and Frantic picks RIGHT up where Frenzy left off. Frantic deals with Porschia, Tage, Roman, Saul, a new NW, and yes the elders of the town. Porschia is in a Frenzy with being a new NW (Night Walker) and can not keep blood down. Saul seems like he is even drawn [...]

I went into this book with a bit of trepidation. With how book one ended I wasn't sure I was happy with where the story was going. But I continued on. Unlike book 1, which is entirely from Porschia's perspective, this book shifts to multiple POVs (Tage, Roman, Saul, Ford) as well. I think that would have bothered me, except all the characters were already established in the first book, and all the chapters were clearly marked as to who was telling the story. I did still feel a bit jumpy, but it [...]

Casey L. Bond’s “Frantic”, a follow-up to “Frenzy”, gave me a book hangover! I am truly loving how this story is playing out. The interaction between the Infected and the Night-Walkers is dynamic. In Book One, I was all for Team Roman. Book Two had me cheering for Team Tage. There is so much to love about this vamp. Although he had selfish intentions, he has a real heart and truly cares for Porschia. Normally, I read a book and envision my own image for the characters. Bond’s books [...]
