My ThoughtsThis was my favorite of the three Amish Letters series books.I had taken a break to sit down and rest for a few minutes and I picked this up and was going to read a chapter or two and before I know it I had read the very last page. It's just that good. I loved Ivy and Noah and of course my favorite character was Noah's Aunt Cervilla she is just a hoot and so blunt and I could not wait to for her to step on the scene. This series is not to be missed. They can all be read as stand alones [...]

This is a gentle story of growing and overcoming heartbreak to give love another chance. I loved how the author wove several plot elements together for a steady pace that kept me invested in the characters and the choices they made. Ivy learns how strong she is as she recovers from disappointment and earns a newfound confidence in herself. Noah is going the opposite direction- full of confidence and success, but a new obstacle is wearing on him and he is at a loss for solutions. His matchmaking [...]

In this novel, the author has us reading past and present letters, and they sure are from the heart. The title of this series is Amish Letters, and as we’ve seen in the previous two books there is a bit of romance in the words.Surprises sure abound in this third book in this series, and I was quickly page turning, from Ivy never receiving promised letters to the old letters found in the attic, and then the passive friendly letters she and Noah start to share after their attic cleaning. We are a [...]

This was a captivating novel! It is the third in the Amish Letters series, but can be read as a stand alone novel, too. I could not turn the pages quickly enough to find out what happened with these two characters! Their romance definitely bloomed toward the second half of the story, and not in the typical way. There was some great romantic tension between Noah and Ivy, as well as other issues they had to overcome.I really enjoyed they way letters played a part in this story, as they did in the [...]

Kathleen Fuller is one of my favorite Amish fiction authors. Her writing has an “authentic” feel to it. As with her other books, this one will not disappoint her readers. This is a sweet story of love, longing, and finding your place in life. Ivy’s struggling to find her place in her community as a young, unmarried Amish woman. Noah is not looking for love, but wondering if he should continue in his chosen occupation. His eccentric Amish aunt, Cecilia, has a secret all her own. The discover [...]

This was such a sweet and lovely read!Words From the Heart is the third book in the Amish Letters series by Kathleen Fuller. While it can be read on its own, it may be helpful to read the other books in the series to become familiar with the supporting characters and the community. Words from the Heart by Kathleen Fuller is the third An Amish Letters Novel. Ivy Yoder has not heard from John King in a year. She received one letter from him written right after she returned home. He broke his promise and her heart. Ivy must now move forward with her life and needs a something to occupy her mind. While nosy, cantankerous older ladies may not be my cup of tea in real life I found Cevilla Schlabach endearing. She really made this book fun to read with her meddling ways. For me, she was the glue that held this story together and the star of the show. Ivy and Noah were great characters but there was just something about Cevilla that won my heart. From beginning to end I liked this story. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and in case you haven't guessed yet Cevilla was my favorite. This [...]

I did enjoy this third book from Kathleen Fuller. I think this is her best series yet! This book was a you couldn't put it down novel.I enjoyed Ivys and Noahs story very much!I knew that they were right for each other from the start. Even Noahs Auntie knew.I did feel like shaking Noah until he lost his senses. Some men are just too blind to see what is front of them. They don't know a good thing when they see it.I liked Ivy. I love her name bcuz it's another unusual nameCuriosity kills a cat does [...]

I have waited, mostly patiently, for six months for this book to release. I have loved every book in this series. ‘Written in Love‘ brings Jalon and Pheobe together to his home in Birch Creek. ‘The Promise of a Letter‘ brings Jalon’s sister Leanna together with her boss’ brother Roman in an awkward love story of two very nontraditional people. It also brought together Jalon’s cousin Adam with Leanna’s best friend’s sister Karen. I knew that ‘Words from the Heart’ would be a [...]

". . . I know you said you don't want to fight for us. That's okay. I'm strong enough to fight for us both."I love mail. I love it when I receive a personal note, especially at this age when emails and text have taken away the art of face to face conversations, as well as the art of writing. There's also something beautiful about waiting for a letter, a response. Don't you think? And I think that's why I've enjoyed Kathllen Fuller's Amish Letters series. In the latest installment, Words from the [...]

Words from the Heart by Kathleen Fuller is a sweet and heartfelt journey. Two young Amish adults must learn what their hearts wants and where God leads them. Ivy has been waiting for a letter from John the young man she met in Michigan. She is recently out of a job and a friend Cevilla has asked her to help sort her attic with Cevilla's nephew Noah. Noah is an auctioneer with zero interest in romance. But as they begin to work together and with the discovery of a bundle of love letters in the attic something begins to grow between them, especially with Cevilla's matchmaking helping hand. And then John reappears! It is a sweet, clean, romance novels fo [...]

First, the cover of this book is more gorgeous in person than it is on the computer. It is stunning! Second, "Words from the Heart" is a book that will tug at your heart strings and emotions. It will deepen your faith and you'll be left wondering if faced with the same choice as Cevilla would choose the same? It is a book full of treasures, faith and love. It is a wonderful read that will tug at your heart. I love how Kathleen has taken something historical and has intertwined history within thi [...]

I really enjoyed reading this book. I will admit that I practically raced through this book because I just wanted to know what was happening. This book just flowed and kept me interested and connected. I have read the first of the Amish Letter Series and it was nice to catch up with the characters from the first two books as well as the other Birch Creek residents without being overwhelmed by secondary characters.I love the build up of the relationship of Ivy and Noah. They didn't just fall into [...]

Ivy Yoder meet John King when she was visiting family. She wrote to him and he never returned any letters. She felt hurt. Cevilla Schlabach asked her to help her nephew Noah Schlabach to clean her attic but they had to work together. Noah was a auctioneer . He did not live in Birch Creek. Celvilla was trying to match make Ivy and Noah and they did not want any part of it. As they cleaned the attic together feelings started to stir between them. They found a box of old letters and Celvilla gave t [...]

Being a fan of the Series - "An Amish Letters Novel" by Kathleen Fuller I waited not so patiently for this 3rd book in this series. "Words from the Heart" is just that! Kathleen has captured the true essence of the "Love Letter" era. We don't have that much anymore and this book was a pure joy to read. Ivy Yoder and Noah Schlabach are the main characters in this book, but as I read more and more of their story I fell in love with CJ and "Bunny", in my heart they are the true heroes of this book, [...]

A book must be good if you finish it in one day right! The book started a little slow but ramped up quickly. Then I was hooked! The characters are so well developed and the storyline is unique. The author does a great job of giving you information in certain order so you’re kept guessing and wanting to read on. There are events that come out of no where and keep you at the edge of your chair in anticipation. There are sweet love stories. Conflict. Funny moments where you laugh out loud and tho [...]

WORDS FROM THE HEART by Kathleen Fuller. Book 3 "Amish Letters"Having read the first two was delighted there was another in this great series. Letters when written held so much for a person, not just in communication, also of hopes and dreams. When Ivy finds the letters, it fills her of what another person and that love was written about. Though cleaning out the attic may have been a scheme to match make these two, will it come about. These were a delightful, enjoyable, heart warmer stories . Of [...]

Thanks to Net Galley for a review copy in exchange for my honest opinion. What at treat! This Amish story is the 3rd in the Amish Letters series. I think it could be read as a stand-alone even though other characters (from earlier stories) are referenced in the book. Ivy and Noah are not so typical Amish, and it makes the story an interesting read. I think that Noah needed some sense knocked into him, but the story came to a satisfying conclusion. There was also a "story-within-a-story" that crea [...]

Wow! Words from the Heart is now my favorite book in Kathleen Fuller's An Amish Letters series. I just love Aunt Cevilla with all of her meddlesome ways. You just never know what she'll do next to pull her nephew, Noah, and Ivy together. I love how the letters again in this series bring people together. The world needs more letter writing! This book can be read as a stand alone novel, but I'd vote for you to start at the beginning of the series. You won't be disappointed with Kathleen Fuller's w [...]
