I jumped right into this book after finishing the first book in the series. And then I spent most of my free time yesterday reading because this book was just as good - maybe even a little better - than the first book.Montana Creeds: Dylan is the second book in the Montana Creeds series about the 3 Creed brothers (distant cousins of the McKettricks) who have been estranged for years. I wouldn't recommend reading this book as a standalone or the series out of order. The books are pretty heavily c [...]

Can I just say that Dylan is hot! I really liked this one. I enjoy the kind of book that you can relate to and have a hero that is strong, yet sensitive and responsable. Dylan is an ExRodeo champion that had a daughter with a woman that he only spent a week with. Now the woman doesn't want the responsability any longer and dumps this helpless little girl off on Dylan. After leaving a poker game at a seedy casino he goes to his truck and finds his two year old daughter in the truck alone. He imme [...]

Dylan is still on the rodeo circuit and also working as a stunt man when he receives calls from his older brother Logan talking nonsense about rebuilding on the old homestead and putting up fences on his property. But it’s when a one-night stand can’t take being a mother any longer and leaves his two-year-old daughter Bonnie in his truck one night that he even seriously thinks about going home. Once he gets there and sees what Logan has in mind and finds out that his lost love is still unmar [...]

He's called "rodeo's bad boy" and he's a man who likes life in the fast lane. But when the daughter he hardly knows is abandoned by her mother, Dylan heads home to the family ranch. Town librarian Kristy Madison is shocked when he turns up for story hour with a toddler in tow. The man who'd left a trail of broken hearts--including hers--is back, and this time Kristy's determined to tame his wild ways!I just loved this story. Lael Miller brings the west, small towns, and strong knit communities t [...]

Whew!! Another great one by Miller. Rodeo's bad Boy Dylan Creed gets the shock of his life when he leaves a Vegas gambling establishment. His daughter Bonnie, has been left in his truck by her mother. Okay Dylan needs to fess up and become a father so he heads home to Montana to the Creed ranch.Left behind was Kristy Madison, who Dylan left in Stilwater Springs. She has continued to love Dylan no matter how many years have passed.Another great one by Miller. How Kristy and Dylan reunite after so [...]

I'm sure this was a fine book. I skimmed it because I just don't like books where the hero and heroine are old lovers who broke up and then meet again years later. Sometimes I can read them if I'm in the right mood or if they are just phenomenal. This one he didn't really seem to love her so I just couldn't get into it. It also bothered me that she didn't have kids but wanted them and he had one with a floozie. I guess I felt too sorry for her.

I enjoyed Kristy a lot more than I did Briana in the previous book, but sadly, I think that Dylan wasn't as interesting as Logan. Dylan and Kristy, as a couple, worked better for me, probably because of their past and the connection that was already established. I might have contemplated 4 stars had the subplots been better fleshed out. Or at least as solid as the relationship. As it is, 3 stars.

Another good one. Dylan is back in town with her little girl, abandoned by her mother in a parking into Dylan's car. He's back to his brother too. I love how Logan and Dylan are working together to be a family again. And I love all those children and dogs.Great. I'm currently reading 3rd story :)

I am somewhat disappointed in these Creed brothers stories. They could be made so much more interesting, but these books are too much of a light read for me. I like the promise of their stories, but not how they come out on paper. I have read so much better stuff by L.L. Miller.

Baru namatin minggu lalu tp gw udah lupa gmn ceritanya. Gak berkesan dan ttg clbk. Bk ini ada bbrp seri. Males baca ttg sodara si dylan.

Nhac!Como de colher!A mesma coisa do primeiro:Livro de bancaCowboyCliclêe Não consigo parar de ler!!!Eita vontade de morar em uma fazenda dessa!!!

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the McKettrick, I found the Creed series more a copy of the McKettricks than a series of its own. Even the heroines and villains are the same just different names. The only difference is that the love scene happen immediately instead of waiting until the characters get to know each other better.

El regreso del rebeldeBuenísimo y entretenido ,fácil de leery linda la historia de dylan y kristy .el regreso de dylan a su pueblo natal trae muchos cambios, como reencontrarse con un viejo amor.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed reading.

3.5 stars. Gentle romance but so similar in plot to Logan, the first book of the series.

2'5

This was book #2 of the Montana Creed trilogy. The male character in this book returns to his hometown with his 2 year old daughter and hooks up with his highschool sweetheart. There is a mystery as to who killed the two bodies found on the girlfriend's childhood ranchland. It didn't matter that I didn't read the trilogy in order as the author explained everything.

too much sex

Author: Linda Lael MillerFirst published: 2009Length: 4534 kindle locationsSetting: Contemporary. Stillwater Springs Ranch, Montana.Sex: Explicit. Reasonably frequent.Hero: Single father. Rodeo bull rider / stunt man.Heroine: Librarian.Trigger: One of Dylan’s step-mothers committed suicide.Trigger: Logan’s father was an abusive drunk.A better story / mystery and a better romance makes Dylan’s story better. The relationship he has with his brothers and the time spent coming to terms with hi [...]

This is the second in the creed men trilogy, and I truly loved Dylan about as much as I loved Logan. It start out in Las Vegas, Nevada. Where Dylan comes out to his truck, and finds his two year old daughter "Bonnie", furious that she was left alone; he then finds a note from Sharlene saying that she can't keep Bonnie anymore and that she is heading out with her current boyfriend. He decides that he is going to learn to take good care of his daughter (since Sharlene hardly let him see "Bonnie" s [...]

I could have done without the novella at the end of this one, ON THE RUN WITH THE LAWMAN, although it wasn't terrible, but if I had to rate the novella alone it might only be three stars. I don't read novellas as a general rule because I like to get involved with the story. I like to get to know the characters and feel like I'm almost right there, a part of things. I don't get that with novellas, I guess because they're so short. This one did have a lot of action, though, and it was a good story [...]

Montana Creeds: Dylan by Linda Lael Miller is the second book in her Montana Creeds contemporary western romance series. After his daughter Bonnie's mother abandons her in his truck, Dylan Creed heads home to the family ranch in Montana. Dylan is determined to keep custody of Bonnie and to do that he needs his older brother (and lawyer) Logan's help, although he and Logan aren't on the best of terms right now. Back in town, Dylan also rekindles an old romance with Kristy Madison, the town librari [...]

Abandoned by the brothers, the Creed ranch had been unkempt for years. Logan, Dylan and Tyler had found success in others areas. Their father’s death, funeral, and the ensuing fight were memories no one wanted to revisit.Life events have a way of changing your perspective. Dylan, a rodeo circuit champion, now turned gambler was prepared, or so he thought. Leaving the poker game with large winnings was dangerous, especially at late hours. Exiting the back door, he knew something was about to ha [...]

This story overlaps with the end of Logan’s story, so is good to read all it together if you can. Dylan left town five years ago, breaking the heart of his high school love. When he came back to find her engaged, he deserted the field for all time. This story opens with him acquiring his daughter, Bonnie, in very unusual circumstances. He has loved his daughter, and tried to be there, but the mother’s ways came between them. He wants to keep his two year old, but he is afraid of her being ta [...]

The first book in the series, Logan is better. That's not to say this wasn't a good book, but it was creepier. In this one, (view spoiler)[you had had to deal with two different main characters being shot at, dead bodies being unearthed, etc. (hide spoiler)]. I'll continue to the last of the trilogy, Tyler just so I can see what everyone is up to, although it's already painfully obvious before I even start the book who he's going to fall for, and I havn't even started it yet. (Same thing could b [...]

his is the second book in the series. I really have fell in love with these brothers and cant wait to read the 3rd and last book in the series. Although I have to admit I liked / connected with the 1st books characters alot more. Just felt like in this book was all about having kids, and those who don't want kids are considered bad, stuck up, self centered people. That Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. But I know people have their opinions on the subject, just don't feel like that should be one of [...]

The second of the series about the Creed brothers in Stillwater Springs Montana. Estranged since their father's funeral and the brawl that happened at the bar afterwards, Dylan has kept his distance from the family ranch in order to avoid his siblings. One night after a productive night at a poker table in a seedy part of Vegas, he returns to his truck to find his 2 year old daughter sitting in the cab. Abandoned by an ex fling who didn't rate a "girlfriend" classification, he is happy to see Bo [...]
