Here again another historical gay romance that proves that it's possible to write a very nice and interesting historical romance in only 37 pages.First of all the author chose to set the story in a very unusual period, England when it was not yet England, after the Romans left and before the Normans arrives. 2.5 starsThe unusual setting and time frame made this more interesting, however, I was put off by Sweyn referring to himself in the third-person. I'm sure it was done to illustrate the language barrier and in that sense it works, but not for me.

Good story, even if it was too short.
