What would Apollo's online profile look like? What would Aphrodite say if she had her own blog? Greek mythology hall of famers meet the modern age in a new series that brings the superstars of Greek myth to life with stories that put them in the pantheon. Complete with profiles, headshots, family trees, fascinating sidebars and irreverent surprises, Mythlopedia is for readers who love action, romance, power struggles and more. This entry in the Mythlopedia series isn’t quite as exciting as the [...]

These books have a modern feel, with bright pictures and a layout reminiscent of DK’s Eyewitness books. There are breakouts with quick facts about the person. This is one of four books in a fun series that can be used to introduce children to Greek mythology. The book contains and intro and explains the origins of Greek mythology. It also features key characters using kid friendly explanations, terminology, and images. I would recommend this book for students in 4th-6th grade and could use it as an introduction into a unit about Greece.-Claudia Purkis

This is still a great series for introducing children to Greek mythology. I however, am a little bored with trying to complete the series. This isn't a good reflection on the series, because it is great. You will have pretty much read about half of these stories already if you had read the other books, or at least two of them.

Excellent introductory book that discusses the heroes. I truly enjoyed it! It was an easy read and hit the main topics! Mythology lovers will love it!

Cool series, for kids that do not know anything is a great start, very simple, but gives one perspective on mythologies, whereas there are many more different variations.
