In this young adults book, five teenagers decide to stage a kidnapping to raise awareness about children in need. This book was interesting written in the style of the modern TV documentary/show, frequently switching first person points of view (some as short as one line). I am not sure this works nearly as well in print as it does on TV. This was the highlight of what was an interest concept executed as best as it could be. This book was a lot of fun, if a little all over the place. Five kids try to raise money for charity by faking a kidnapping, and (you guessed it) everything goes wrong. This book is a funny coming of age story with lots of unique characters and story lines that all intersect.Final Verdict: read it if you wantReview by Rebecca Chamberlain, all opinions, ratings, reviews and thoughts are entirely my own
Poor formatting, poor plot and storyline. Very disappointed.
Five kids ready to do everything to help the african children and ready to make the readers feel that it's high time they did a small step to make a dfference in the worldJust awesome!
Great fun. A crazy teen read where a girl with a social conscience arranges her own kidnapping.
