Level: IntermediateGenre: FolktalesReview: This book features a small collection of urban legends, such as the Vanishing Hitchhiker, and the Babysitter on the Phone. The writing style is rather simplistic, and doesn't elaborate much for the sake of good storytelling. I did appreciate the fact that the book explained some of the historical background to the tales.

Totally AWESOME!!! Readers young and old will be captivated by this series. The story move from Creepy Urban Legends, Scary, Very Scary and Freaky Scary. This is a great book to read aloud and have some fun.

This book has a reading level of 3rd-4th grade, so it's good for elementary age students who like scary stories.
